Roman Catholic Church, Seaford, New York

Welcome to Maria Regina Roman Catholic Church

As a community of Baptized Catholics, endowed by God with special gifts and nourished by the Eucharist, we at Maria Regina Parish recognize our mission to call forth these gifts to help build the Body of Christ.

ASH WEDNESDAY SCHEDULE - February 26, 2020

Ash WednesdayAsh Wednesday, February 26, marks the beginning of the 40 day Lenten Season. These holy days of Lent give us an opportunity and a challenge; an opportunity to take part in many Lenten Activities of prayer, fasting and alms giving; a challenge to put aside that which would distract us from returning to the Gospel and a renewed life in Christ. As we enter into these special days, perhaps we can take some extra time in the following areas of our Spiritual Life: PRAYER (a vital part of Lent), FASTING (not only food!), BREAKTHROUGHS (expect the Lord to help you break through the barriers in your life), THE CRY OF THE POOR (have a heart for those in need and do as much as you can to help the needy), SIMPLIFY (so that we can draw closer to Jesus in prayer). The signing with ashes is an outward symbol of an interior commitment to enter prayerfully into these holy days.  Join us for Mass or a Word Service when the signing with ashes will be celebrated during the following liturgies:
7:00 AM Mass
9:00 AM Mass
12:00 PM Word Service
4:00 PM Word Service
7:30 PM Mass
Have a beautiful Lent!
